Youth & Family Programs at Serenity Stables

Building Confidence, Connection, and Emotional Resilience Through the Wisdom of the Herd

Growing up brings unique challenges for children and teens. At Serenity Stables Foundation, youth and families are invited into a peaceful ranch environment where connection with horses, nature, and supportive adults creates opportunities to slow down, build confidence, and strengthen relationships. Our programs are ground-based and designed to help participants practice skills they can carry into home, school, relationships, and everyday life.

Through ground-based Equine-Facilitated Learning, connection with nature, and supportive guidance from our experienced team, young participants are encouraged to discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop skills they can carry into everyday life. Our approach incorporates HeartMath, mindfulness, journaling, guided meditation, trauma-informed yoga, and meaningful activities with the horses. Together, these experiences support emotional regulation, healthy communication, self-awareness, trust, resilience, and connection in a safe and welcoming ranch environment.
